When it comes to weddings in the summer and fall, things are really starting to look up, which means that the Spring 2022 Bridal Fashion Week couldn't have come at a more perfect time to take place. We don't want to jinx anything, but we do want to say that with the help of wedding planning apps, engaged couples can now seamlessly resume their wedding preparations and ensure a smooth transition to their big day. It seems like an eternity ago, but in reality, it was just a little more than a year ago when many engaged couples were forced to put their wedding preparations on hold and postpone their big day. These apps provide a convenient way to stay organized, collaborate with vendors, and make the wedding planning process enjoyable once again.

Wedding Attire with a Rainbow of Hues

One thing that can be learned from this season's Bridal Fashion Week is that bridal designers are once again willing to experiment with new ideas. After several seasons of bridal collections consisting entirely of white gowns, collections of wedding dresses in every color began to appear. For the bride who isn't afraid to step outside of her comfort zone, daring floral prints and metallics are the way to go, while dreamy pastels like dusty blue and peach are a natural choice.

Embellishments Made of Feathers

Think about getting a wedding dress with feather details if you want to look luxurious and stay on the cutting edge of fashion at the same time. The addition of eye-catching plumes to a wedding gown can elevate any silhouette, and they also lend a fun and festive nod to the celebratory atmosphere of your big day.

The Bone Chilling Shoulder

One of the most figure-flattering bridal looks was dresses with off-the-shoulder necklines. A small amount of skin can be seen along the neckline. And just think of all the fabulous jewelry you could wear with that gown!

Nineties Minimalism

The nineties are making a comeback, and with them comes the return of the beloved slip dress. The minimalistic classic was reimagined by designers in the bridal market as their own unique take for the fall 2022 season.

Bar of the Trousers

As the number of brides who choose nontraditional wedding attire continues to rise, fashion designers are responding by developing stylish pantsuits, sexy jumpsuits, and a wide variety of easy-to-wear trouser looks.

Exposed The Midsection

Attendees of the shows at New York Fashion Week began donning outfits influenced by the year 2000 on the very first day of the event, with the bare midriff serving as the standout component of the look. The infamous "bare the midriff" fashion agenda was responsible for a significant trend takeaway, which included everything from alluring corsetry to mesh cropped tops.

The Free-Spirited Groom

Genelia, resplendent in red and pulling off the artsy vibe to perfection, subtly steers brides in the direction of a bohemian look that is stunning, free-spirited, and full of spirit! This look was conceived by fashion designer Saroj Jalan, and it is all about letting loose.

The Bride with the Boldness

Woohoo! When Malaika Arora walked the runway for designers Diya and Rajvvir, she really turned up the heat, so let's take a moment to catch our breath so we can continue talking about how hot it got. And while they were at it, they provided Indian brides with some seriously seductive ideas to consider.

Burning Scarlet

Pantone red was one of the most eye-catching trends at New York Fashion Week 2023. This shade packs quite a wallop, and it is such a vivacious, lively color that was seen on everything from gowns to more casual pieces of clothing. I had the distinct impression that the designers were trying to play up the seductive connotations of the color red, which is traditionally thought of as a more passionate shade.

Shimmer & Shine

We are still riding out the post-pandemic vibes, with avant-garde fashion and dopamine dressing being at the forefront of many of the trends that were showcased at NYFW 2023. The continued use of metallics in a wide range of colorways and constructions was one thing that caught my attention, and I mean that quite literally.

Go Bold or Go Home

  • It was inevitable that a reference to knitwear would be made at some point in the body of this post.
  • However, this year is all about making a statement by being daring.
  • Do not be afraid to use bold and contrasting colors, as well as patterns and shapes that are easy to recognize.
  • If color isn't your thing, you can dress down the trend by choosing something basic like flared leggings or straight-leg jeans to make it a bit more 'you.'
  • If you are feeling more daring and want to beat the blues caused by bad weather, combine different types of fabrics to create a unique look by wearing chunky knits with silky midi skirts.
